We’re working with an early-stage AI company building infrastructure that connects trusted industry data with AI agents, initially focused on renewable energy.
They already have paying customers and meaningful revenue and are now hiring a Founding AI Platform Engineer to help build the technical foundation alongside the founders.
You’ll own 👇
- Production AI agent architectures — RAG, retrieval, routing & tool use
- Backend systems and APIs powering the platform
- Evaluation, observability and reliability of AI systems
- Developer tooling, CI/CD and AI-native engineering workflows
Looking for 🧠
Strong Python/backend engineering experience with hands-on production experience building LLM agents, RAG or AI-powered systems. You should be comfortable working across backend, AI and infrastructure rather than sitting in one narrow lane.
