What it does
“Use when planning Zoom integrations.”
Generated summary from the skill's own text
This skill helps create a structured build plan for Zoom integrations by identifying the target user flow, selecting the appropriate Zoom surface and APIs, defining authentication requirements, and breaking implementation into phases with risk assessment. It produces an architecture summary, API checklist, auth requirements, delivery phases, and identifies critical risks early.
When to use it
- Starting a new Zoom app or integration project
- Evaluating which Zoom products and APIs to use
- Planning implementation phases and delivery milestones
- Assessing auth, scope, and security requirements upfront
When not to
- Writing code or configuring the integration itself
- Troubleshooting an existing Zoom integration
- Building without clarity on user needs or success criteria

Prompt
Install the agent skill "plan-zoom-integration" by Zoom. Source, pinned to commit 10936829584d5b232e8edd9e6a6cab48729d2c52: https://github.com/zoom/zoom-plugin-codex/tree/10936829584d5b232e8edd9e6a6cab48729d2c52/skills/plan-zoom-integration 1. Download that folder at exactly this commit. Do not use the default branch. 2. Copy every file unchanged, keeping the folder structure, into .claude/skills/plan-zoom-integration/ for Claude Code and .agents/skills/plan-zoom-integration/ for Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode. Create the folders if they do not exist. 3. Do not edit the files, and do not run any script in the folder unless I ask you to. 4. When you are done, list the files you copied and where you put them. --- name: plan-zoom-integration description: Use when planning Zoom integrations. --- # /plan-zoom-integration > For local plugin installation and app mapping details, see [README.md](../../README.md). Create a practical build plan for a Zoom integration or app. ## Usage ```text /plan-zoom-integration $ARGUMENTS ``` ## Workflow 1. Capture the target user flow and success criteria. 2. Choose the correct Zoom surface and supporting services. 3. Select the Marketplace app model and template, including ownership, scopes, products, events, callback URLs, and post-create setup. 4. Define auth requirements, token lifecycle, and account assumptions. 5. Break implementation into phases: app registration, prototype, core integration, reliability, and launch. 6. Call out hard risks early: manifest drift, master-scope access, OAuth setup, webhook verification, SDK environment limits, or marketplace review. 7. End with the smallest deliverable that proves the architecture. ## Output - Architecture summary - Zoom products and APIs required - Auth and scope checklist - Delivery phases - Risks, open questions, and immediate next action ## Related Skills - [start](../start/SKILL.md) - [setup-zoom-marketplace-app](../setup-zoom-marketplace-app/SKILL.md) - [setup-zoom-oauth](../setup-zoom-oauth/SKILL.md) - [build-zoom-meeting-app](../build-zoom-meeting-app/SKILL.md) - [build-zoom-bot](../build-zoom-bot/SKILL.md)
