What it does

“Use for `/eval-auth` requests in auth-resume evals. Do not use for other requests.”
The author's description, from SKILL.md

Generated summary from the skill's own text

This skill enables the agent to handle authentication evaluation requests by calling a specific MCP tool before responding. It processes /eval-auth requests through a budget-echo tool and then answers the user's actual question using earlier thread context if available.

When to use it

  • Handling /eval-auth requests requiring MCP tool validation
  • Processing authentication flow evaluations with budget queries
  • Answering user questions after tool provider verification succeeds

When not to

  • Requests that do not explicitly ask for eval-auth
  • General authentication without MCP tool requirements

1. Download that folder at exactly this commit. Do not use the default branch.
2. Copy every file unchanged, keeping the folder structure, into .claude/skills/eval-auth/ for Claude Code and .agents/skills/eval-auth/ for Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode. Create the folders if they do not exist.
3. Do not edit the files, and do not run any script in the folder unless I ask you to.
4. When you are done, list the files you copied and where you put them.

# Eval Auth Flow

Follow these steps for an `/eval-auth` request only. A later request that does not ask for Eval Auth does not need the provider.

1. Inspect the disclosed MCP tools and call the exact disclosed tool once before answering.

2. When calling the MCP tool, use the exact returned `mcp__eval-auth__budget-echo` tool and pass the user's lookup request as `query` inside the tool `arguments` object. Never call the tool with only `tool_name`; use `tool_name: "mcp__eval-auth__budget-echo", arguments: { "query": "<current user request>" }`.

3. After the provider succeeds, answer the user's real question directly.

- If the user asks about earlier thread context, use that context plainly.
- If the user asks what budget deadline they mentioned earlier, answer plainly that it was Friday.
- Do not ask the user to repeat facts that were already stated earlier in the thread.

4. Keep the final answer short.
